GasCast Elite

Connect your own AI

Ask Claude, ChatGPT or your own scripts about GasCast's natural gas weather-demand data: degree-day forecasts, model-run changes, storage, CFTC positioning, LNG feedgas, events and European storage. You use your own AI account; GasCast provides the data.

GasCast provides data only. Not investment advice. Answers are written by your AI provider, not by GasCast.

Overview

Way to connectAddressSign-in
MCP server (Claude, ChatGPT and other AI apps)https://gascastapp.com/mcpYour GasCast account (OAuth)
REST API (scripts, spreadsheets)https://gascastapp.com/v1/…A personal API key

Both are read-only and need an active GasCast Elite plan. Up to 300 requests a day per account.

Add GasCast to Claude

  1. In Claude (web or desktop), open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Name: GasCast. URL: https://gascastapp.com/mcp. Add it.
  3. Click Connect. A GasCast page opens: if you're signed in to gascastapp.com, click Allow; otherwise enter your account email and the 6-digit code we send you.
  4. In a chat, turn on the GasCast connector and ask, for example: "What's the 15-day heating demand vs normal, and how did the last model run change it?"

Claude shows each GasCast tool it uses. You can disconnect anytime in Claude's connector settings.

Add GasCast to ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT, open Settings → Connectors (custom connectors are available on plans and workspaces that allow them).
  2. Create a connector with the MCP server URL https://gascastapp.com/mcp and OAuth authentication.
  3. Sign in with your GasCast account when asked, then use GasCast from a chat.

Other AI apps

Any app that supports remote MCP servers over streamable HTTP with OAuth can connect to https://gascastapp.com/mcp. For example, Claude Code:

claude mcp add --transport http gascast https://gascastapp.com/mcp
